Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth installment in the wildly popular Splinter Cell series. A stealth-action combat game centered around the continuing adventures of black ops agent Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell: Conviction continues where the storyline of the earlier Splinter Cell: Double Agent left off. Splinter Cell is a seres that has been around for a long time, and if you have fan or were mildly entertained, this is a must own. SC has become more action oriented and gone is the frustration of trying a level over and over to get the perfect stealth and it makes the game feels a little too easy for the hard core fans. The story is kinda interesting but isn't fully developed. The game isn't too long either. However, it is a fun ride that every person should enjoy is a must rental.
I had a great time with this game, easy mode is easy, and hard is hard, great online co-op, really stand up in the splinter cell series, did not mess it up.
If you're a long time Splinter Cell fan, as am I. You might find your self a little bit disappointed in how VASTLY different this game is compared to the others. The HUD is basically gone, apart from your ammo count. You no longer have a light and sound meter, and you don't get any of your cool gadgets from the others games (EMP attachment, Night vision, thermal vision etc.)
This is a good game if your new to the series, but if you want a stealth game i HIGHLY recommend Chaos Theory.
This one has been in development for 5 years. Ubisoft have done their work, Sam Fisher is deadlier than ever. The new cover system is awesome, the guns have multiple upgrades, you can scale buildings, take hostages, interrogate/torture opponents and more ... Single player campaign (following Sam Fisher) lasts about 6 hours, plus the Coop campaign (seperate story) lasts another 6. Great game but over too quickly for the price. 8.5/10
This game was really enjoyable. The whole story connected well with the others, and the whole game play was amazing! Do try this game.
