Multiplayer gameplay options.
An engrossing storyline blending Cold War history and science fiction elements.
An arsenal of first-person shooter weapons, including conventional firearms and upgradeable, time altering gadgets.
Mission progressing puzzle-solving gameplay.
Advanced graphics built on the Unreal 3 game engine.
A typical FPS with the usual assortment of weapons (rifles, shotguns etc..), competent enemies and not half bad story. You are also given a device to manipulate time but its under used, mainly to solve very simple puzzles and fix the same broken items. Multiplayer has a monster vs man mode which held some appeal but grew old fast. Slighty above average shooter, decent story, short, worth a rental.
Singularity is a very traditional shooter despite the shallow novelty features: time powers, alternative history, fallout style cute clips, upgrades. You'll be entertained through its very short campaign. Everything is done well from presentation to gameplay and is highly recommended as a rental.
Good graphics, fun gameplay, decennt story. All in all this was a polished, well made game. Only real issue with this game is that it's pretty short and needs to be played on Hard to be challenging.
Was very surprised with this one, the story was amazing (especially the endings!) and the gameplay was pretty fun. Multiplayer can get fun when everyone knows what they are doing although the community is pretty dead. (Barely anyone plays). Achievements are simple.
For not being that much of a mainstream game it should have been noticed. The game is very well done has a mix of Bio Shock/Time Splitters very fun multiplayer is a bit of a let down but this game does not really need it. Story is great and it has the Fear 2 kinda feel to it scary to play at night =)
