Red Steel 2 is a single player first-person shooter that allows the player to blend Samurai bushido ethics with the blade, with the over-the-top gun combat. A Wii exclusive, action is set in a fictional, yet immersive and edgy Western setting and utilizes optional Wii MotionPlus technology to add precision to players actions both with the sword and the gun. This precision of motion allows everything from turning the sword into both a cutting and blunt weapon, to blocking bullets with single strokes as players exact revenge on a rival clan. MUST BE PLAYED USING THE WII MOTION PLUS.

Red Steel 2 is a huge improvement from the first game. The controls are great with the use of motion plus. The graphics are cool. If you hated the first game, dont be fooled, try this one out.

i played the first one and was disappointed in it, the multiplayer was decent, but controls were buggy and the second one is a huge improvement. 1. Graphics are good but a little blurry at least for me at times 2. No multiplayer. This is one of the best FPS on wii the that i have played and recommend anyone who wants a gun and to swing a sword around as well, it does require the wiimote plus add-on, which is why this game has excellent controls.
  Disappointing story, acting 4/10

The first half hour (as that is all I could stand) had poor story line and voice acting. The load delays between levels are frequent and annoying. I found two bugs in the half hour needing a reset of the game. The swordplay with Wii MotionPlus is a nice gimmick, but couldn't rescue the game.
