I tend to look down my nose at first person shooter games that don't let you freely roam but instead make you follow a script. I have to admit though that I had fun with this one. There is just enough freedom given to make it interesting but still have a story. The interesting combo of campain mode and arcade mode really is two games in one. In arcade mode you don't control player movement at all, you just try to shoot germans as fast as they come at you, and the game takes care of the rest.
You know the drill, shoot some nazis, blow up some artillery and AA guns etc.. It's all here and it's nothing special. Where this game succeeds is in the control department. You get pinpoint accuracy with the Wii remote and the developpers got creative with the way you do different actions. Throwing grenades, using the bazooka and pumping the shotgun after every shot all feels incredibly satisfying. 32 players multiplayer is lag free and pretty fun aswell. Surprising!
