This entry in the Star Wars saga casts players as Darth Vader's "Secret Apprentice", unveiling new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi - and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny. A Star Wars fan? Rent this game. Lots of sweet force abilities and pretty environments to play with. The story in this one is nothing short of awesome.
Now, I said 'rent' because it is very short with limited replay value (collectibles, leveling up fully.) I find the combat to be mostly repetitive and slow with very linear level structure. Some things about this game frustrated the crap out of me because it could've been amazing... You'll know when you get to it. Give it a shot, save $60.
The story is interesting enough, unfortunately there are a lot of problems with this game. Too many times I got knocked through the ground, and had to restart. There are some strange physics issues where you slide along the ground for huge distances.
The gameplay is pretty fun, and I had a good time throwing things around, and other general jedi fun. Definitely rent this, but don't buy it. You will be disappointing.
Force Unleashed is another title from LucasArts that is less than stellar -- At least, in the X360 version. The attention to detail in the world is amazing but is then overshadowed by the redundancies by looping the same kind of areas over and over again. However beautiful the graphics may be, will get boring after you button-mash through one area to get to another that looks exactly the same; and button-mash you will, the entire game you can get through with ease on all difficulties. Rent.
Force unleashed is a great action game in the starwars universe. There are a of physics and effects and what not that make the game fun. Mind you, this is no Gears of War but it is a good 3rd person action game on its own. Have it on your list. 8/10
Frankly, this is the best SW title since Dark Forces. The story is quite well written, if a little predictable at times. There were enough surprises though to keep even the most picky Star Wars fan amused. The gameplay is easy to master, allowing much more time to focus on force abilities and other power ups. There's some downloadable maps becoming available and while the game itself doesn't lend to much replayability, new maps and challenges seem to be on the horizon.
The game mainly focus' on the force powers rather then the lightsaber. The force powers are done really damn well. Picking up people, throwing them, zapping them, pushing them is done very well. I find the game failed quite badly on the lightsaber part, it's clumsly, bad movement controls and not that effective.
All in all the game was entertaining. Any big enemies there's a cinematic kill to them which are always awesome to watch your character do incredible finishing moves and acrobats.
This games is amazing. It is an interesting games with a very detailed story and twist. The lightsaber fighting is sick and stylish. There are lots of charachters that bring back original star wars memories. This game is excellent but a little short but worth it.
The overall game play is pretty good, but I have some complaints about the camera positioning during certain scenes and combat. Some of the tasks can be tedious and ruin the "coolness" of the situation, such as the Star Destroyer bit.
Story line is OK, if you are a SW fan, but motivations may seem weak otherwise. Graphics are passable for this generation, but force throwing and electrocuting enemies make it well worth a rental.

This game has an amazing concept and a cinematic feel. Unfortunately the game is ridden with glitches, bugs and flaws up the wazoo. Not to worry it is still fun and the extras keep you playing. This is a good game that keeps you wanting more.
Super fun game. It had its aiming issues and slight camera problems, but I've never had so much fun using a lightsaber. The combos are awesome, and the force powers allow you to attack enemies in a ton of different ways. Good story to fill in a gap between episode 3 and 4
i played the game on medium difficulty and i found this game very challenging, i by no means am a brand new gamer and have played numerous titles but i found this game to be very difficult and had to play the same level numerous times. this though should not take away from the gameplay and story line of this great game. it is a great game with hopefully an even better second one
