Interesting weapons and destructable environments make for a fun FPS. Levels are very linear and the story is fresh off the cookie cutter. Worth renting for a couple nights and promptly sending back.
You play as Darius mason, a soldier fighting against a army of bugs. The best thing about this game is the destructible enviorments, they look awesome when you tear them to shreds. The story is iffy and the characters you never really get to know to well. They go all out for creativity on guns though.
This game is disappointing for me, mostly because I enjoyed the previous game in the series so much. If it didn't have the "Red Faction" name, I wouldn't have given it a second glance. It is a standard third person shooter that is competently executed, just not very memorable or interesting. Not really worth your time.
This game was tight, nice physics, great graphics and all around fun gameplay. I would recommend it to anyone who loves a great shooter, you'll have a blast.
