RAGE is a groundbreaking first-person shooter set in the not-too-distant future after an asteroid impacts Earth, leaving a ravaged world behind. You emerge into this vast wasteland to discover humanity working to rebuild itself against such forces as raider gangs, mutants, and the Authority - an oppressive government regime that has a special interest in you in particular. Featuring intense first-person action, vehicle combat, an expansive world and jaw-dropping graphics powered by id's revolutionary idTech 5 technology. RAGE promises an experience like no other. Fearing a planet-wide extinction from a massive asteroid headed towards Earth, world leaders are faced with the inexorable task of ensuring human survival. Left with few alternatives, life-sustaining pods filled with select people are buried deep beneath the earth's surface. You are one of the chosen members of these modern day arks and abruptly enter the RAGE universe after surfacing alone. Leaving you to your own devices to stay alive in a world filled with those who prefer you dead, RAGE combines powerful storytelling with heart-pounding action.
Visceral 1st-person gunplay and exploration - Take on bandit gangs and hordes of mutants using an arsenal of exotic weapons and special items, such as wingsticks, personal turrets, sentry bots, and remote-controlled bomb cars.

All in all, Rage is a great game. If you like Borderlands then this is for you. Large scale world, variety of questing, driving, racing, combat and multiplayer. My only real gripes with the game are some of the dreaded invisible walls that stop you from fully exploring the world and the anti-climactic ending. Aside from that I really enjoyed the look and feel of this game.
This game was really fun to play the only thing I disliked was how fast you run out of ammo but it can easily be fixed by buying it. This game is worth a rent at the least and the only thing I would say after playing it is that you should take ur time playing this game, don't try to rush through it, when I made it to the end I felt like I missed a lot that I could have done.
I had a lot of fun with this game. Good variety of weapons and vehicles. You can purchase upgrades for both weapons and vehicles which actually do improve characteristics.
The story was just okay nothing spectacular and was short.
Its a short game that can get repetitive after awhile.
I've had fun with this one, but I was expecting a game with more freedom, kinda like Borderlands. It's more of a corridor shooter (like Doom) with an empty wasteland connecting the missions. Most side-quests have you going back to the same mission locations, so it gets repetitive real fast. If you're not expecting too much, it's still a good FPS that should keep your interest for 15 hours or so.
