In a game exclusively developed from the ground up for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, and for the first time ever, gamers will experience Naruto starting from the series' beginning. Relive the hit anime and manga and experience Naruto's transformation from noisy ninja-academy dropout to respected ninja.
Not expecting a lot of of a Naruto video game, I was surprised that I liked this game. The video game is a cross between an open world puzzler (you have the whole village to explore) and a one-to-one fighter. The core gameplay is simple as are the missions (run there, get this, etc) and the fighting (think of a basic fighter) but its enjoyable. The game appealing to kids and fans, others may not like the simplicity. Definitely the best Naruto game so far. 6.5/10.
If you're a fan of the series, you may have to ignore some liberties they took with the story while translating it into a game, but it's never been so fun to play parts from a favourite anime. The graphics are excellent, and the cel-shading fits well into the visual style of the anime. In the vein of an RPG, playing through the story nets you new skills, and once you're all ninja'd out, running around the village is a total blast. It's not a real long game (6-8 hours), but worth checking out.
If you're a fan of Naruto, you'll sure love the details put into this game. This game starts at the beginning of the story of the Naruto story and ends with the chunin exams.
Though the missions are a bit tedious, it's a lot of fun. The missions do get really hard by the end of the game so that's kind of a drawback for me. Otherwise, the graphics are awesome and you'll love it if you're a fan.
