After a long wait, MvC3 has hit the scene, and it is every bit as good as its predecessor. The graphics, sound (music too) and gameplay are all fantastic. This is what fighting games should be about, in that you can jump into it and enjoy it without needed hours upon hours of study to be competitive (SFIV?). My only complaint is the 360 controller, though admittedly, with practice, you get used to it. Highly recommended title!
Well as the title says, I'm not a fighting game fan, but this one was pretty good, the colorful characters, fun combos and power moves and solid control make this game worth renting even for someone whom just likes the marvel or capcom characters to play around with, online worked very well.
After about 20 hours with this game, I can't say I'm impressed with it. The graphics and controls are awesome (as long as you're not using the 360 controller) and while not exactly the roster I would've picked, there's still a lot of cool characters. However, be ready for some excessive buttons-mashing. Forget about single player, Arcade and Mission modes are average at best, and the online mode can be really frustrating. Rent only to play locally with your friends or just skip it.
