Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom is an Action RPG game based on the universe of Kingdom Under Fire series. Where as the previous Kingdom Under Fire series were Action RTS titles that recreated realistic fantasy battlefields of massive scale, Circle of Doom focuses on the development of one character with easy-to-learn game system and control mechanics.
The 360 is lacking hack-and-slash RPGs in a big way, and this game fills the gap nicely for awhile. What makes this a temporary solution is that advancing is quite quick, so you won't be going for long until you max-out. The battle system could use a lot of tweaking: this is one of those games where the enemies can simply hack you to death while you remain completely helpless. For some people, this frustrates to the point of enraging. Rent it, but this is definitely a love or hate affair.
This game was terrible, my wife thought she would really like it until she got to a certain part and then they ask you to play online and with other people to move on. This was not the type of action/rpg she thought she was getting. Would not recommend this game at all.
The game starts out with high potential and goes downhill from there. The worst part about it is that what makes the game fun at the start are the same things that make the game awful later on.What you will do is run through corridors fighting enemies and that is it.A lot of the corridors you'll run through are the same which makes the game feel slapped together and rushed. There was no thought put into this game.
This game is so bad that my GF is making me return it because it bores her to tears when she is sitting in another room.
No story line, terrible game play, very repetative
This is a 3rd person hack and slash with some rpg (leveling up) elements and loot gathering. The combat is incredibly boring, it nevers challenges you or keep you engaged, forcing you to mash the attack button over and over. And that's all there is to this. Bad combat, terrible character progression mechanics, bad graphics and sound. The story is hilariously bad, it makes no sense at all. Playing this game for 2 hours straight made me feel physicaly ill. STAY AWAY!
I brought in black ops to trade and could not find the game I wanted, saw this one and decided to give it a try..WHAT A MISTAKE! the graphics are horrible, gameplay bores the hell out of me and I ended up just shutting it off and playing bioshock for the 100th time because AT LEAST ITS INTERESTING! T.T ive never been so upset with a game and this has topped my list of worst games to play
The past Kingdom Under Fire games where great, original RTS. This game is another cookie cutter one vs hundreds of mindless enemy waves. The only reason you should but this game is if you are a die hard Dynasty Warrior fan.
