Caught between two rival factions in war-torn Africa, you are sent to take out "The Jackal", a mysterious character who has rekindled the conflict between the warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralise their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.
This was a extremely fun game i got addicted and played nonstop. The only thing that i did not like is the fact that you do the same thing over again and everybody will come after you no matter wat your doing. Overall it was one amazing game a definite rental but i dont really want to play over again
This game looks great.
Pros: The open world concept is nice with very few load screen interruptions. Weapon variation is great. Amount of missions is great. Story flows nicely.
Cons: The amount of driving durring and between missions is not. Each mission seems to require a half an hour commitment of driving to opposite ends of the map repetitively. Enemy AI is a bit dodgy, always going with the "Rush and shoot" way of things, online multiplayer always seems to be laggy and underpopulated.
This game deserves WAY more credit then its getting the campain's fun and multiplayer even better witrh a map creator every single game should have the best one ever. <:~> Da WiZard
A word of warning... This is a great game to OWN. If you rent, beware. It's not a casual shooter. I started this summer and then took a break. I have to restart my game because I can't remember all the little nuances of the gameplay. Fun, though. Great graphics, great gameplay.
I had more fun with this game than GTA4 if you like sandbox games, but take it with a grain of salt.
Missions do get a little repetitive and the AI is unrealistic at times, but the scenery is awesome and so is the game play. A must try for all I say.
The first five minutes of this game was quite decent, the graphics was nice enough, and the weapons were fun enough to play with. But was it fun enough to play the same mission over and over and over and over and over? Was it fun enough to get chased down by EVERY SINGLE AI character, regardless of what you're doing? Not really.
This is the third game I've played by this developer, and it's always the same. Open world game where the user takes the same four missions over and over again. It's a beautiful game with interesting mechanics, but just stretched far too thin.
Good looks on the outside but very empty inside. Great graphics and sound but extremely boring and repetitive. The whole game is basically driving (or walking slowly) around, killing the same looking enemies (who can take 20 bullets and not die)... rinse and repeat.
I couldn't finish this game, but I thought it was an interesting concept. Having AI friends that come to save you is kind of fun.
Theres alot to explore.. Maybe thats why I didn't end up finishing it.
this game is so full of glitches that ubisoft montreal wont admit they exist, gameplay is horrible no strong character devlopment, storyline, pretty much just drive around a lot blow something up and repeat again really annoying multiplayer is a lot of fun though too bad so glitchy and ubisoft wont admit it game saves get stucked after u hit 50% so make plenty of game saves and hopefully u wont have to start over and over again, really do avoid!!!!
