While I'm not a big fan of Bioware, don't get me wrong, they make some great games! I never did manage to get through Mass Effect. I have only one word to say about Dragon Age, WOW! The writing is what stood out for me the most. This game has some great dialog and some excellent voice acting. the characters all have their own personalities, and some people you just fall in love with. I love this game, and I'm considering buying it, just so I could go back and play it whenever I want. A must get!
If you like RPG's and I mean to death then you will love this game.. but I honestly didn't even get 1/4 the way done because all it was about was talking to me! Sure it had its exciting parts but common give me a little more excitement than that.
Not even worth a rent unless you love RPG's.
I enjoyed this one. I'm not usually a fan of the castle and dragon type games but this one pulls off a great story with great quests and great characters all around with a quality Bio-ware RGP element of great character progression.
A MUST rent!
For any self-respecting fan of DnD style games looking for a good time.
Pros: Looks great, fast-paced, challenging, great depth, good writing, fairly competent voice acting, good length, ability to set your party AI is a plus, definitely worth the 20$ purchase. You also wouldn't go wrong with renting either.
Cons: Party AI can be a bit dodgy, lacking of co-op online and offline, amount of in game badgering to get the DLC.
I liked this game so much I bought it , So many different was to play the game , the story changes for every charicter you pick . You need to be a fan of oblivion or two worlds style to like this game because it kicks there buts.
I had great expectations for this game, i was kinda bummed out that it didnt live up to it, for me of course. I can get why people like this game so much but the story is deep...real deep, cant see myself getting into it. i found this game quite boring and not very challenging but i was playing on normal difficulty.
