A modern rpg with a terrific story, beautiful graphics and fun game play. Combines rpg elements with shooter/stealth tactics and does a superb job. Definitely worth a play through, or two, or three.
Dues Ex is a prequel to the original title, and does wonders in expanding the story behind the human augmentation movement. It follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, and in many ways surpasses it. The stealth mechanic works well, and the incentive to non-lethally take down enemies make for a fun and surprising exciting romp through futuristic Detroit and Shanghai.
The only downside would have to be the difficult boss battles which seemingly no amount of preparation can make easier.
The game is fun, but best of all, it has many, many hours of single player game play, provided you also do the secondary objectives, which are big deals and are as important as the main quests. This made the game seem much longer than I was expecting, in a good way.
The game does a very good job in allowing players to decide exactly how they want to take on each mission.
The stealth approach works much better, if you have more than 2/3 enemies shooting at you consider yourself dead.
Hacking becomes very tedious and annoying after a while, you almost want to forget about the stealth halfway through the game because you realize you have hacked 50 locks/computers and only shot 5 people.
good for a solo run otherwise.
One annoy but essential skill is lean able to hike into a enemy central computer to gain access to open door. Ok fine but Ido the old fashion way, tnt explosive which you are not equipped with. A stealth killing is fun but why every mission all I got is packet knives. Ok no you have guns just try not use it because enemy has better guns. :) Anyway I rather like to play CoD type of game. This gay looks cool with all technology but is not a robot cop for sure. He is a spy like .
