Just when you think you're safe from having your brains eaten, another zombie apocalypse always seems to spring up. Frank West saved America from being overrun by zombies in the original Dead Rising, but the cause of the zombification was never completely contained, leaving the door open for future zombie outbreaks. Dead Rising 2 picks up the story several years later, and this time Fortune City, the entertainment capital of America, is the site of the next zombie convention. Unfortunately, what happens in Fortune City will not stay in Fortune City if motocross champion Chuck Greene is unable to stem the zombie tide.
A lot like the first, the story's okay but after a while playing dead rising gets kinda boring and repetitive.I still liked it though.Consider renting it.
fun gory game that would have been great without the timed missions that irrevocably fail if u miss one period of it. that combined with the retched save system, it made the game quite drag after having find the same stuff over and over to fight a boss
the hacking and slashing is fun for the first hour, then it just gets repetitive. for developers not to put an auto-save in the game is embarrassing, every time you died you had to do every little thing over again.
I played with my buddy online for quite a while and had a BLAST. Very similar to the first game, but a bit more accessible.
Some of the weapon combos are hilarious and the sense of urgency (for the guy's daughter) is actually quite effective.
Lame game save system, puts a real damper on the fun, the controls are a wee bit clunky like the first dead rising but for some reason I found the first installment a much more enjoyable experience.
This game is really fun, nothing wrong with just going around hacking zombies for a little time wasting. Storyline is nice, but a little boring to me, the psychopaths around the game are the funnest part, although they ARE tough. If you can find someone to co-op play this, it makes it 10X funner.:)
Was a little hesitant on buying this game because I heard the same problems from the first still exist. While this is true, the frantic nature of completing missions, killing zombies is as fun as it ever was. and with the addition of combining weapons, 3 save slots and survivors that aren't brain dead (lol)...I had a blast playing through it. Kinda wished I had kept it for longer...the game has a ton of replay value, and co-op is always great. Highly recommended if you can handle the stress.
I played this game with good intentions, an open mind and a willing soul. But this game did nothing but disappoint. Dead Rising 2 is riddled with strenuous walking missions because of the lack of fast travel, annoying hit boxes on box you and zombies and a overall boring story line. This game has no features that will have coming back for more. I couldn't return this game any fast. My rating a 3/10. Only reason it got free points, its because the graphics are the only half decent thing.
Played the first one to death, and I have to say the sequel is much better. This game would be a 9/10 if it wasn't for the atrocious bosses peppered around the entire game. It seems they didn't even bother to balance them, some are downright impossible! Plus the last boss is TERRIBLE. Cool game tough...
Super jeu. Succes facile mais faut y conssacré beaucoup de temps. Seul bémol, pour tirer le max du jeu, l'achat des costumes sur le marketplace est primodial. On peut créer des armes avec presque tout. Jai fini ce jeu au PC avec tout le 1000G et je vais le refinir au xbox :)
