Nice upgrade from the first, fast loading, very smooth, amazing graphics.
Main Story is a bit short, wish the landscape was bigger. I know it's better than the first, but grappling boost can make you go around the whole city in about a minute
The Arkham series is the gold standard of what licensed games (and superhero games) should be. You FEEL like Batman. The gameplay is structured around the character and as a result, the game is incredibly satisfying. The city is vibrant and fun to navigate, and there is a great deal of replay value here, from collectibles to an assortment of challenges. Very much worth it!
Loved the first one, and this one just makes everything better. Flying around the city is a lot of fun, beating up bad guys is probably the most satisfying things I have ever done (that feeling of getting in the zone with counters, timed button presses, and quick draw gadgets just never gets old). There are a million things to do in the city, mostly to do with collecting riddler trophies and side missions, 400 trophies was a little ridiculous, but other than that....not much I'd improve.
really enjoyed it and its definitely a must play, gliding is so much fun better then the first one bacuse its more open world and have big buildings where you can just jump off the story is great and there are alot of things that keep you playing even after you finish the main mission the side missions are great and at the end of the main mission there is a BIG HUGE twist but i will not spoil it. really great game if you liked arkham asylum or not you should get this
An absolute joy to play from beginning to end. Graphics are gorgeous and the landscape is well constructed. It's more open than the first which is nice but I'd advise doing the story first and then the side missions or you can lose track of what's going on in the main game.
