Expanding on the gorgeous PS2 action title, this next-gen follow-up continues the mystical tales of ancient Japan by game designer Yoshiki Okamoto's Game Republic studio. Set three years after the last chapter of Genkuro Yoshitsune's life, the game continues to expand on the historical accounts of feudal Japan. The game delived more than double the amount of gameplay, more diverse levels of fighting, and more playable characters -- all underlying an epic tale of a warrior's honor.
Genji for the ps2 was a fun, yet short game. For the ps3 version its quite beautiful but clearly they rushed it as the combat is not nearly as fun or fluid, the AI is cheap and downright stupid at times and the level design/mission progression is just bad. A shame since I was looking forward to this quite a bit :( Can't recommend it.
