Nothing real original in this game having said that having a sequel to super mario bros 3 the best selling video game of all time is not necessarily a bad thing

This game was a lot of fun. It is an update to the original side scrolling of super mario. I would definitely recommend if you are a fan of the series.
The side scroller Mario has returned and is better then ever. It's like a hybrid of the Mario games to come out over the years.
I feel that Nintendo really stepped it up a notch in their level design for this one.
This game is a lot of fun to play when you have some friends to play along with you. I found that playing single player wasn't as fun. It's like playing Super Mario Bros. 3 all over again. Which isn't a bad thing, but you will have more fun with this game if you have someone else to join in on the adventure.
