The game itself is a lot of fun, and is very appealing in terms of gore and story. However, it's appeal is hindered by poor "level" design (boss battles, etc) and just a lack of non-controller-busting side missions. Solid rental... not a purchase though. |

There was nothing compelling about this game to make me want to keep playing. The gameplay is fun enough for an hour or two, but it quickly becomes repetitive and boring. The cut scenes are so bad they're painful to watch, and the story is so hackneyed and poorly presented that it is indecipherable. It's so bland that I ultimately sent it back because I couldn't care less whether or not I finished it. |

This game looked very promising as soon as I started playing it, but the gameplay just continuously kept getting more and more frustrating. Moreover, the story starts to unravel towards the end. Feels very "half baked". |

I expected too much, because at the end of the day; this game was a huge let down for me. i read such glowing reviews and couldnt wait to play this badboy... unfortunately, when i did play, it just didnt live up to the hype. the story was lame and the game was actually quite boring. nothing made me want to play on, and i just felt like rushing through to beat it. this is one game that was overhyped and doesnt live up to the hype at all. it doesnt suck, it just isnt really good. |

This game was a blood bath, it was a great free roam experience. Most achievements are extremely time consuming. I loved the game play, the battles were very fast pace and some of the boss battles took a lot of skill. Although like others have said its worth a rent not a by unless you really like it and plan to play it through a few times until the sequel comes out. |

If you like fetch quests, then this game is for you. The combat mechanism gets a little ridiculous near the end when you have acquired all the powers. Try hitting X and B in the middle of a boss fight. The controller is not designed for that. The sandbox portion is great. There is no lag despite how quickly you can traverse the city, and very few glitches to the travel. If you like GTA and other massive sandboxes, then go for it. |

This game is absolutey fantastic. I don't have any complaints and considering when I first put this game in to play it I was playing it for 6 hours being disturbed by life here & there ofcourse. No game has grabbed me this quickly in a very long time.
I can't say it is for everyone but it is for anyone who wants to have fun killing and consuming. Prototype is a game that really does satisfy all who play it. |

The story in this game isn't so great, even I don't know who Alex Mercer really is by the end of this game and I've consumed everybody. Gameplay on the other hand is handled better. There's something about being able to run rather seamlessly on top and along the sides of buildings that makes it fun running around selecting missions. Fighting is fun and varied, but soon you'll have your favorite weapons and find you only use your other powers in challenges. |

Prototype m'a beaucoup déçu, je n'est pas vraiment accroché. Les graphiques sont bien mais à comparer aux autre jeux comparable, le jeux est plutôt ordinaire. Je vais attendre le prochain Crackdown2 pour un jeux de ce genre. |

This game really was addict1ve as hell, the whole upgrade system being so in depth and the whole Hive respawn rate being a tad fast had me going from apache to apache just flying around bombing the hell out of them and lovin it, this game has A shit load to do, and certainly worth renting if not buying, won't disapoint. |
