A 3rd person action game, Lost Planet 2 boosts more frustrating than fun game play. Controls are a little sluggish especially the grapple/jump mechanics and the check point system is out dated and causes a lot of needless replaying of the same area. The game punishes you with cheap enemies and terrible teammate AI. Online VS is decent but nothing special and the co-op works but is not drop in/out at any point. An acquired taste to be sure, rent and see for yourself. |

If you are going to play this game with a friend or online multiplayer, this is the game for you. The biggest problem with this game is the single player campaign.
The computer AI in this game is non-existent. Some objectives based missions are confusing. If you can not figure out the mission objective, you will have to restart the chapter and there are no checkpoints in a chapter. Most reviews are based on the single player campaign, not the multiplayer. |

Too bad professional reviewers don't know a good game when they see one. I bought this game Friday, its now Sunday, and haven't stopped playing it. I absolutely love it, don't know why so much hate. At the very least rent this, hopefully sales will still go well despite the reviews. |
