Square Enix does it again! An action RPG prequel to FInal Fantasy 7 that serves to show the story from another viewpoint: that of a Shinra soldier. A technical marvel for the PSP in terms of graphics and production value, the only negatives I have with the game are the repetitive sub-missions and ease of combat.
A must buy/rent for FF7 fans with a PSP. |

This game is great if you're a big fan of FFVII. If you are not, it will probably come off as a slightly above average beat-em-up. As a FFVII fan, I will say that this game is great fan service. It uses the locations, characters, songs & sounds from the original game, but updates everything to be more modern. The best thing I can say about this game is that it made the jumbled mess that was FFVII story make sense. I want the guy who made this game to remake VII. |

Definately worth a rent if you are a fan of FFVII and have a psp! Gameplay is excellent, and it answers a lot of questions from the series... |

This is a perfect addition to the final fantasy 7 saga .. all questions have been answered in this one ... and theres more of sephiroth .. this is a must have and a must play for all final fantasy 7 lovers |

Even if, like me, you only vaguely remember the sub-plot and sub-characters from the original FFVII, Crisis Core is a must play. The writers of Crisis Core take great liberties in illustrating the past of even the most important characters from the original and their gamble pays of in spades. The battle system is the most satisfying I have EVER seen in an RPG. Why is this the first time I can actually dodge in an RPG?! The repetitiveness of the missions does not stop CC from being PSP's best. |

This is the game that FFVII fans have been dreaming about, especially as far as story is concerned. It answers a great many questions and makes the story feel complete. The gameplay can become repetitive at times, with so many side missions containing no variety. A must-own title for the FFVII fan. |
