This is one immense game that offers a lot of stuff to do outside of playing through the story campaign. Tons of side missions and hidden items will keep you busy if you're trying to get everything. Monotony is an issue however, as many of the missions involve you simply traveling from point A to point B while taking out enemies. It does tell a great story though. |

Prototype brings amazing graphics and an engaging story along with fun gameplay. The battles flow fludicly from one attack to another allowing you to feel like a real badass. Unfortunately, Infamous arrived at the same time and has pretty much all of the pros without the few drawbacks. Namely, the control scheme makes it difficult at times to attack the target that you intend and the load screens get tiresome quickly. Overall worth trying but falls short of Infamous. |

This game has a very interesting way of telling a very boring story. The combat system is expansive but mostly useless seeing as almost all enemies can be defeated with the basics. The graphics are pretty good and I didn't find there to be much pop in however there was a noticeable slowdown during the final boss fight. |

I liked the game at first, it starts by showing you the end day where you run around with all your powers and get an idea of how cool you will be, then it puts you at the beginning of the story with only a few powers.
There is huge variety in the different powers, probably too much, I found several that I never used. The combat system frustrated me so much on the Hunter leader fight I took it out and sent it back. |

Lots of the title unfortunately A little to much running around.
All the different powers and moves are awesome and I personally thought the story was great and how it was presented through the memories. But there's just too much running around from one mission to the next.
And Side Missions(Events) OMG there's just so many to the point of being to many and you'll be running all over the city to get em all.
A fun game but most players will have had enough by half way through |

This game had a story, not the most amazing, the controls were also not the most amazing, but I had the most fun flying around the city, breaking into military bases, all the gore and blood, this game was just meant for a fun time, can't wait for the sequel. |

I really liked Protoype. I played Infamous a long time ago, so it was inevitable that I would use that as my base for comparison. You start out feeling like such a badass, but as the game progresses, you seem to get weaker, and the enemies stronger. Found that stupid. Story is retarded and forgetable. But at least you'll enjoy running around the city. No sarcasm. |
