I was suprised by this, i didn't think i would like it but low and behold i'm crazy about this game.. The controls work fantastic, The drifting aspect is built in a great way, The creation tools just seem limitless.. I'd spent 2 hours one night just working on 1 single map. The custom maps people create will carry this title for a long time. |

I had a ton of fun playing this game, it's almost like Little Big Planet except with cars and race tracks, i also enjoyed the user content, but the actualy campaign can be very challenging at times, but i had a fun time |

The SP career can be finished within 7-10 hours. Creating and online is where you'll spend most of your time. The storyline is average. The graphics are fun and the artstyle supports this genre of game. The loadtimes are very cumbersome. The music could be better. The VO's are very well acted and the SE's sound okay. The controls work very well and there are no camera issues. The AI can be very challenging. Creating and modifying is long, but fun. This game is very challenging. (7.5) |

This game allows you to create your own racers, tracks, and carts; each seem to have limitless possibilities of what you can actually create. Some of the fan made creations I saw online were just amazing and ranged from sonic to crazy anime inspired murals on the sides of vans. Because you can also create and share tracks as well this game will be a source of endless fun.
The only peeve I had with this game is that some of the races are very difficult and it can seem like luck is a factor. |

If you wish Mario Kart was on PS3 this is an awesome substitute. It's a crazy good time the only thing I found is it seemed like eery 10 seconds you were being zapped or blown up, and it was sometimes hard to get into the racing aspect because of it. The weapons are cool and the customizations are out of this world, but it just isn't Mario Kart. |

Very fun gameplay with a lot to do. Online is nicely executed, though I found myself getting disconnected from the ModNation servers some. The track editor is extremely cumbersome at first and takes several full tracks built before you start to understand the mechanics so I would suggest to steer clear of it unless you plan to spend a lot of time with this game. |

The kart racing genre is populated by cheap knock offs of mario kart and gimmicky kid focused games. Mod Nation Racers changes that, bringing solid and fun kart racing and deep customization. You can customize your character, kart and even create your own tracks,sharing it all online. The AI can be kind of cheap at times and online doesnt offer any variety of modes but its a great substitute to Mario Kart. A must rent. |

This games allows for incredible amounts of creativity. Furthermore, the online component is outstanding. Although it's region locked, races do not lag, and the game developers add updates and information every week. Trophy hunters may be put off by the 2 big xp trophies. Single player is challenging, but smart drivers will excel! |
