Rubi is a problem fixer. She fixes problems. She's good at it. But when she agrees to fix a wealthy man's problem by finding and bringing back his wayward son, she thinks it's all going to be cut and dry. She thought wrong. The job wasn't so simple. And the man who hired her isn't who he appears to be. Now Rubi's on the run, needing to find the man who left her for dead, leaving a massive body count in her wake. Double-crosses. Enemies. Allies. Guns. Swords. Drugs. Old books. In an adventure that spans three continents, two warring factions, and one very agitated problem fixer, WET keeps the adrenaline pumping from start to finish. Features: With her trusty twin custom made Colt Pythons, Rubi gracefully engages in amazing, cinematic high-body count gunplay against diverse and challenging enemies. Along with her guns, Rubi has an arsenal of death-defying acrobatic moves. Her incredible agility allows her to climb on ledges, slide under obstacles, swing on poles and run along walls. Rubi's sword is an instrument for deadly close-quarter proximity attacks. Rubi will unleash a flurry of multi-staged stylized attack sequences.
This game is perfect for a little time waster for the weekend. It's super fun, has very minimal plot to follow and an interesting visual style. The challenge modes, bunch of different difficulty modes and Score Count modes might get you going back for a second or even third playthrough like I did but if not the 6 or 7 hour game is still very entertaining. The music fits the visuals and game perfectly, that was one of my favourite aspects of it.
when i first put this disc in, i absolutely hated this game. then, after deciding to give it another chance, i slowly began to enjoy it, and all of a sudden it grew on me.
If you surrender yourself to the storyline, give in to the controls, and accept it for what its worth; a Tarentino-esque brutal bloodbath - nothing more - then you will enjoy yourself.
the game itself will take you 6 hours, it'll be fun, but i doubt you'll come back for seconds.
Wet is one of those games that doesn't bother with the trappings of a well told story and just gets right to the action. If it weren't for the absolutely dismally designed final stages and QTE-only boss the game would actually be good. These limitations still leave it in the realm of play-if-you-like-action, but it's not worth a buy.
The game is very well put together. There isn't 1 part of the game that isn't fun and the action almost never stops. The only sad part is that it is a little shorter than I would have liked it to be, but with that being said, the game feels complete.
If it was a little longer it would have been a perfect game.
Wet is an homage to Tarantino, and it would've felt better if he had been associated with the game. The gameplay itself is like Mad World, but with color. It's fun, it makes for a good "exhibition" game, but not much more than that.
Horrible controls
aim with left analog stick but also move character with it, resulting in aiming away from target while evading.
forced to over use 'time slow' in order to be successful
