For an RTS on a console, with surprisingly functional voice commands, EndWar is a lot of fun. The story is great and the missions require strategy (brute force gets you nowhere fast). If you compare it to RTS games on the PC, you will be disappointed by its lack of complexity, but I don't think it was trying to compete with those titles. A fresh idea for the 360 definitely worth a rental.

Endwar is a good solid RTS, built for console gaming, which in a way means it was dumb downed from most RTS's on the PC. If you are new to RTS's this is a good starting point, but I found it a bit dull, ordering your troops around was far too easy, and repetitive. A good rent, and I did actually buy this as it was on sale for $15...but I wouldn't pay $50 for it. 7/10
