The award-winning Skate franchise returns to break new ground with Skate 3. Delivering the definitive co-op skateboarding experience, it's up to players to build the ultimate team and change the face of the city. Get ready to take on unique team challenges, compete against rival crews online and shred the streets of the all new skaters' paradise, Port Carverton. In Skate 3, gamers make the magic happen. Skate Create gives players all the tools to create custom content for their team for both private use and to share with the world. Players can design their dream plaza or mega-ramp park with the all-new Skate Park. They can also capture their team in action with the expanded Skate Reel for team based video creation. Or design a custom logo for their team with the improved Skate Graphics web tool and hit the streets in style.
oh my goodness. Where to begin. this game is like the first two, based on controlls obviously, but it kind of breaks from the pack a little bit. New city to explore new skate parks, and even some new skaters. The gameplay is exellent and the career is a great idea. Definetly worth the rental but if you can buy it somewhere I would definetly suggest doing so
this game is one of those other games that you can play so much. its realistic, you can design every thing, build your own skate park, play online with your friends, and just do cool tricks and have fun.
Skate 3 is a very incremental upgrade to the incredible Skate 2. Since Black box only took a year to do this one, they have only upgraded the physics, the hall of meat, the online modes. If you don't care to build a skate team and roam the streets online, you might as well be playing Skate 2. They have completely cut-off the local multiplayer options which is a travesty, plus, there are more bugs in this one. Cool game to rent though. 8/10
