I love my ps3, but my friends kept telling me I had to buy an xbox just for a few of its games... I played halo 3 and loved it... and now Reach was like... oooooh myyyyy godddddd... it was well done good story... it is impresive... I have a piece of my heart for CoD and Halo
This has to be the best of the Halo games. Amazing game play and story. Lots of new vehicles to drive and fly. The AI is much better than the other Halo games. And got to love the space flying part of it even if it is a bit short but is one of the top mission in the game. My hint for this game do as much head bashing as possible since the weapons do not hit as hard this time. At the end when you have to drive a trike do the driving yourself if not you will keep dying.
Incredibly polished, lots of fun, single or co-op.
Loved it. Played through the whole campaign co-op with 3 other friends, then played through by myself.
Online is pretty much the same as it's always been, but that's not really a bad thing.
You are either a halo MP fan, or you are not. MP is the best one to date with many improvements and makes it must own. If you are renting this game, chances are you are hardcore MP. The single player tries to be epic but ends up confused most of the time. Game play and graphics are good but the music score is amazing. A times I do miss dual wielding in SP but this is halo at its core. There are better action shooters (BF:MC2, COD4 etc) but this one is worth checking out.
The worst thing you can say about Reach is, it's just another Halo game, but it's the best one since Combat Evolved. What got me most is the sense of sadness I felt about half way through as you already know what happened to Reach.
Most Like: Halo 3
Reach is by far the best game in the Halo series because it adds perks like sprinting and jetpacks and makes the enemies smarter and more fun to kill. This is also the best 4 player co-op campaign out there and the online multiplayer is just so much fun with so many modes and maps. And they even throw in fan made great maps for free. This is a must have for anyone with an Xbox 360.
you played one you played them all . I beat it in 1 1/2 days , only thing I like is the custom on- line charicter stuff & on line co-op , online maps are small & not worth playing . Halo is over rated and wore out like call of duty . Played one you played them all .
Wasn't a fan thought the game was really childish looking with the green, blue, and red armours. The enemies were annoying, and very childish.
1.DMR does not = The BR 2.WTF is with the health bar 3.Why are there load outs like cod. 4.Why did they try and remake all the old multiplayer maps and not come up with new one's? 5.Ranking system?? 6.Wheres master chief 7.Why can we now only watch theater by ourselves? 7.Elite Slayer? Land before time no thank you. 8.Not worth buying the legendary edition unless, you get h**d over plastic.9. campaign not as epic as anything else in the trilogy 10.definitely worth a rent.
