Engineer Isaac Clarke is back for another blood-curdling adventure in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dead Space. As if battling dementia, being hunted by the government and seeing haunting visions of his dead girlfriend weren't enough, Isaac has to face the alien infestation known as the Necromorph again, this time in the space station where he is recovering. Some guys have all the luck. With a new arsenal of tools and new determination, Isaac will have to remember to dismember.

Dead Space 2 really improves upon the first one. While it may be shorter than the first one, that is a good thing because they take away all the boring parts and just make it non-stop action. The weapons and weapon upgrades are ingenious and just all the little tweaks and nuances to the game world make this one of the best games out there right now.
Now this was a nice treat for a game. Finally something out of the ordinary, the game hub was on the back of you and your ammo was on your gun. Also a game that sucks me in so much that when I play at night it can make you jump, well thats impressive. I loved this game and the only thing I didn't like was that I wish it were even longer! A must play.
this game is a psycological thriller. turn off the lights, turn up the volume as you step into the shoes of isac clark. the campaign is long and fulfilling. well written and a challenge on the higher difficulties. this game will not disapoint true gamers. although this is the first attempt at multiplayer (for this franchise) it has many problems and should be ignored. unless you want to spend 800 microsoft points to know im telling the truth. great game do not miss
I'll be honest. The game brings back the atmosphere but brings back the same atmosphere. Better game play some new weapons and some new enemies.
The only reason i give it an 8 is because you don't feel alone like Dead space one.

I found dead space 2 to be a very good sequal that added a more story and answered the biggest question i think most everyone asked at the end of dead space 1 "what happend to Izak". I found the game to be fun and unexspected and if you havent yet play the first one to get the whole story. the only thing lacking is the addition of multiplayer in which the mutants alot more powerful than the humans plus you need a code to unlock multiplayer or your on a trial. But if anything get it for the story
