Crackdown 2 is a flawed clone of the original. Playing through it I feel like I'm playing mostly the same game. The tone is different, and the city is grimier, but there are few improvements. It's easier to level up driving because of the freaks and the announcer plays a bigger role in this. Other than that, I honestly wouldn't play it unless you were a huge fan of the first game and wanted a reason to keep playing.
More of the same, not bad but not great 8/10

Crackdown 2 is unfortunately crackdown 1 with minor changes, zombies. less to do and multiplayer. The game plays and looks dated, the target system is poor (the car is not shooting me, the guy next to it is), the climbing is unrefined (can I grab this? maybe, maybe not, who knows!) and any story is pretty much not told. Co-op is fun but theres not much to do and the online VS suffers from this as well. The game can be fun though and its worth a rental just dont expect too much

Could't get into it. Running around a city collection orbs, killing zombies. Never gets any more intense. Same old missions. You level up and now u can jump higher. Big whoop. Absolutely no story line.

Crackdown 2 is the first Crackdown with zombies... there's also no more gang bosses, so you just run around killing zombies by night and splattering civilians with cars by day! So dull! If you absolutely want to play Crackdown... play the first one, you'll have more fun and it will be cheaper!

Didn't play Crackdown 1. Awkwardly geometric map design. Repetitive missions. Weird difficulty curve - easy for most of the game, very hard at the end. Collection is a core mechanic and is annoying especially when the orbs move away from you. Art, weapons, and character design calls for far more variety. Co-op was more fun than single player.
  same old crackdown 7/10

the first Crackdown will be fondly remembered as an all time classic. This sequel will not. Just a poor remake of the first. they should have named it "Crackdown: Zombies". its the exact same game as the first, but this time has Zombies. and seeing as how the first one came out like 5 years ago, the fact that its almost identical is not a good thing. the game feels outdated and is just plain boring this time around. no originality, nothing memorable.
