4 Spidermans... it feels like you're playing 4 different games! A spiderman game that isn't a GTA genre... It's great to play in closed quarters and not having to go all around the city just to save a stupid citizen! They didn't reinvent the gameplay, but perfectionned it... the controls are great, Spiderman does exactly what you want him to do! They've remodeled the super villains depending on which spiderman you play! Near perfect game, comes close to Batman: Arkham Asylum!
Graphics: Awesome.. like straight out of a comic.

Super fun,and lil challenging if you want plat.13 levels 13 bosses,all epic,my fave being carnage.4 different spider-mans all with different abilities,including a new 2099 spider-man never before seen.Everything you need,un-lockables,combat and character upgrades.Graphics are wicked,control's are very smooth.Non stop fun,even without online.Amazing level design,always felt free,big and original.27 hours to plat,one of my faves!Game sense tingling? Then buy or rent this one,you cant go wrong.
This is the best spider game and it fixes the many annoyances i had with previous version (gameplay spread too thin in open world) and is a very focused game in both story and gameplay. There is no open world, it guides you through the multilevel system and "tries" to take the best bits of Batman:AA but isn't quite as good. A lot of the fighting is shallow unlike batman but gets the job done. If you are fan of the superhero genra and games like batman:AA and/or past spidy games, rent it.
Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, was the first Spider-man game I had ever played. It was one of those games, that I wanted to get the day it was released...but kept putting it off. Finally, I bought it and I loved it. I thought playing the different Spiderman's was a really cool idea, especially liked playing Noir Spiderman. Also, I enjoyed the sarcastic remarks from Spiderman as I playing. It's a easy play-through even when trying to get all the extra credit items. I recommend.
This game provides some good and somewhat original gameplay. It's and interesting take on Spider-Man, the 4 different characters having different abilities allows for dynamic gameplay. Graphics are awesome with each demension drawn in a different style to better represent the comic on which it's based.
Reviews were high. Good for a Super Hero game, like a more challenging RPG type. Concept of different spiderman eras was cool. Turned it off after a couple of hours.

Great fun to be had, great storytelling, and excellent presentation for anyone who is a fan of Spider-Man, or Marvel comics in general. Play it, have fun!
