Persona 4, another in renown and award-winning Shin Megami Tensei series, is a riveting murder mystery RPG featuring an entirely new cast, loads more story, content, action, and depth. Shortly after an urban youth begins a year-long stay in the countryside town of Inaba, the rural towns peace is shattered by a horrific murder that leaves no clues or suspects. As the lone incident develops into a series of bizarre crimes, he discovers that only he and his friends have the power to solve the baffling case, bring those responsible to justice, and restore harmony to his new home.
The persona series is one of those niche RPGs with a love it or hate it aura. You play a high school student thrust into a world of mysterious murders as soon as he comes to town. A turn based RPG, this time allowing you complete control of your party members thankfully, with deep play and level mechanics along with a fun experience outside combat when you interact with the world to become stronger and get to know others in town. Definitely worth your time if you enjoy RPGs.
