We don't know anything about evolution, but we do know we've watched Donkey Kong evolve from a two-dimensional, 8-bit jumble of squares to a three-dimensional powerhouse. Whether you remember him from the old days or you're just discovering him, you can't help but love the big galoot. Donkey Kong Country Returns gives you the best of both jungles because it combines the side-scrolling fun of the original NES version with three-dimensional graphics and Wii motion control. An evil group of mind-controlling Tikis have forced the animals on Donkey Kong Island to steal Donkey Kong's Banana Hoard, and you'll need to help him get his bananas back. Feel the power of Donkey Kong by shaking the Wii Remote and Nunchuk to perform Ground Pounds, Barrel Rolls. These moves can be used to destroy blocks, defeat enemies and reveal hidden areas. Donkey Kong also has the new ability to climb walls and ceilings. Diddy Kong has a few new tricks of his own. He can use his Barrel Jet to hover high above the ground or defy gravity and fly across small chasms. He can also help Donkey Kong with this ability by hopping on to Donkey Kong's back. In two player mode, a quick shake of the Wii Remote will give him the ability to fire his Peanut Popgun to assist Donkey Kong. The levels in Donkey Kong Country Returns are beautifully rendered and creatively designed with lots of hidden items to discover. Try to collect all of K-O-N-G Letters and hidden Puzzle Pieces in each level to unlock something special. In cooperative mode, players of different skill levels can play through the game together.

Kids play with it only 4-5 hours them and got bored. The game is very hard, and progress is tough for them. Was thinking of buying it, but happy to only rent it.
  Brings me back. 10/10

Loved this game. It plays like the original but with some added features for the motion controller. This is one of the best Wii games so far. Loved it so much I went out an bought it.
Awesome, just like the original 9/10

From Retro studios the makers of Metroid Prime series. This is a real gem of a platformer. A bit unbalanced in terms of difficulty spikes, but overall one of the best platformers ever. About 7-8 hours of gameplay + and extra 6 to complete all the secret stuff.
  Classic 8/10

Jeux très amusant, contrôle pas trop difficile. Histoire bonne et graphique très beau. Effet de jeu en profondeur intéressant. Point négatif, les maudits tableaux de fusé, mauvais usage des contrôles avec la fusé
  For the retro gamer 10/10

This game brought out the worst in me. It takes everything the original donkey kong country did added some features and made it harder. I don't remember the last time i cussed so much playing a video game but i loved every minute of it.
