WOW!!! This is a great blend of Dead Rising and Borderlands. Controls very well, the visuals are great(with some minor glitches like people moving through doors and disappearing walls), the combat is quite fun and the questing/rpg elements are good.
If you are going to play this game I highly recommend Co-op. That's where this game really shines and becomes fun. working with friends to finish quests is a laugh a minute.
I am about 20 hours into this game (65% completion). |

This game was fun, I can see how it would be addicting always searching for a stonger weapon but Ive played that game before when it was called Boderlands. |

its great ... for 5 minutes
than its just the same thing over and over again
missions are pretty lame ... not sure how i played until almost the end ... i think it may have hypnotized me lol |

Graphics are great and the idea behind the game makes sense ..
but the game play becomes repetitive and you find yourself doing the same tasks, just for different people .. the story moves slowly but if fun to play with the lights out and the sound up.
I'm glad I rented it and got to play it, I'm over the moon that I didn't waste $60 to buy it

This game is a great but it has its downfalls. If your into slashing and curb stomping zombies, plus have the bone chilling thrill of being chased by pyschos in a jungle, Then your probably going to love it. If you DON'T enjoy spending 20+ hours, doing quests over and over, constantly on the move, and repetitive gaming. I wouldnt suggest you this game. Even though I enjoyed my first play through, On my second, I found myself wanting to put the controller down. Plus it ripped me off achievements! |

Definitely one of the funnest games i have played in a while. It has some glitches but makes up for them with awesome zombie slaying action. It really is a lot of fun and makes a great game for any collection. |

One word to describe Dead Island? Tedious. It's already a bad sign when I have to force myself to play the thing and when I did play it, I had to fight fatigue every time. Non-existant story, sloppy controls and boring combat coupled with a lifeless environment makes for an experience best forgotten. |
