Lords of Shadow is a 3rd person action adventure game which borrows heavily from other games, mainly God of War. The environments are beautiful as is the voice acting. The combat is fun but the boss fights are typically annoying and just unpleasant. The puzzles are fun but there are only a handful, the meat is whipping various repetitive monsters with a decent move list. A lengthy, somewhat enjoyable experience, worth renting if you are patient. |

Castlevania est de retour. Des graphiques splendides et un univers digne des jeux d'aujourd'hui! Sans laisser le passé, bien des détails réussissent à nous rappeler les jeux précédent. Les combats alternes avec les phases d'adresses. Il est possible d'améliorer son personnage grâce à l'achat de nouveaux mouvements ou bien par les pouvoirs de celui-ci qu'on découvre au fil de l'histoire. Les cinématiques sont vivifiantes, une ambiance sombre et des créatures dignes d'un univers fantastique. |

This is the first decent non-2d castlevania game and overall it is quite good. The 3rd person fight mechanics are quite good as are the environmental puzzles, and it has an interesting story at leaves you wanting for more. The game is not perfect, as the camera can be frustrating and you need to replay missions over again to get upgrades. However, it is quite enjoyable overall. |

Lords of Shadow surprised me. While the gameplay borrows heavily from God of War and, to a degree, Shadow of the Colossus, the music, atmosphere and voice actors all help push a decidedly average game to greater heights. While this game has only a tenuous link with Castlevania, it is still a very enjoyable experience. |

Castlevania's first good 3D game! This one borrows a lot from God of War and Shadow of the Colossus. However it has better art design than God of War, better action than Shadow of the Colossus, and rewards exploration better than both. The graphics are a bit janky at times but overall great. This game lasts around 12 hours. |

Castlevania Lords of Shadow is a good action game. That's all I have to say good about the game. Worst camera I have ever experience in a video game. the game is full of bugs left and right. I did not get to finish the game because of an error that popped up during the final boss. That deleted my saved game. 25 hours down the drain!!! I am not the only one that has experience this problem check the web for details. Konami next time you make a game make sure it is 100% before shipping so MAD !! |
