God of War II is the sequel to the outstanding God of War I. This game tops it's predecessor in every way. The landscapes give you a sense of depth and really immerse you into the world being portrayed. Battles are huge with bosses ranging from Medusa to a giant statue powered by the Gods. The story is much deeper than before with a solid ending with room left for more. This game is amazing, a must play. |

The opening scene had me hooked and it got better from there. A great combination of gruesome battles (yes there is quite a lot of blood), problem solving, and cinematic scenes. The cinematic sequences remind me of the old Dragons Lair game in the arcade… they're interactive in that you have to press certain buttons at the right time to guide your character through it. The whole game is like watching a movie, except better! If there were more games like this nobody would botther with a PS3. |

The good part:More of the gory, over-the-top action you've come to expect is there . Fantastically paced , with some ingenious puzzle designs , scale of some of the levels is unbelievably massive superb graphics and sound , several more bosses than the first game. the bad.not sure. |

This game looks great. The developers put an incredible amount of energy into making this game look good. The animations, the environments, the bosses, the pacing are all great. The combat system is above average and the gameplay is mixed up just enough to keep it interesting. Pushing buttons in sequence has been copied in many games and is getting tiring but the animations attached to those events in this game are very entertaining. |
