Ghostbusters for the Wii scares up the actual cast from movies for in-game voicework, which is a real treat.
The graphics are cartoony, but very functional. Gameplay however was not very exciting. Walking into haunted hotel rooms just didn't grab me, even when Slimer appeared!
My biggest regret is that you can't slide the wiimote across the floor to open a trap! An ok game for the Ghostbuster fan: 7/10 |

Being able to use a proton pack equipped with a diversity of gadgets is fun, especially for blasting at ghosts and capturing them. The cartoony look fits perfectly with the cartoony feel that is inspired by humour-filled dialogue in a dark but well-thought out that brings back many of the lore we want to know more about. Techniques to defeat enemies and puzzles to solve bring a strong strategic element to a game that would otherwise rely heavily on the blast-and-trap method. |
